To make the most of your visit at St. Paul Lung Clinic, use these tips to prepare:
- Make a list of all your symptoms and/or concerns prior to your visit
- Know all of the medications you are currently taking, including dosage (this includes over-the-counter medications, vitamins and supplements)
- Include information of medications that you have taken and if they worked for you or not; if they didn’t work or if you had problems with them, be sure to tell your doctor
- Take a notepad and pen with you to write down any information that the doctor gives you
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions
- Have the doctor explain your treatment options and medications, ask about any side effects you may experience
- If you forget to ask any of your questions, feel free to call our office back and ask them
- You can bring a family member or a friend with you if you would like an extra set of eyes and ears
